OUR STORY
The Breeder Behind Will-O-Wisp Corgis
My name is Tahlia Rossi and I am the breeder behind Will-O-Wisp Corgis. I grew up in Southwest Florida and have always had a passion for animals and the outdoors.

I grew up in a show-dog home where my mom bred AKC Registered Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and ARBA Neopolitan Mastiffs and participated in Schutzhund (German Protection Training) with her rescue Rottweilers.
Dogs have always been a big-part of my life and I often showed in the AKC ring alongside my mom as well as participated in obedience events through my local 4-H club.
ABOUT WILL-O-WISP CORGIS
Will-O-Wisp Corgis is our in-home breeding program that started in 2021 when we got our first American Corgi puppy. Revy stole our hearts and we quickly fell in love with the breed as well as the community that surrounds these beautiful dogs. That's when we knew we wanted to be a part of it and a part of the journey of bringing well-rounded dogs into people's lives.

Our program is unique because it not only focuses on placing puppies into homes that suit their personalities, but we strive to set our puppies up for success. We do this by litter-training them and exposing them to loud noises, other dogs, cats, small children, and other stimuli.

When you get a puppy from us, they will come with a health certificate by a licensed veterinarian, applicable registration, their 1st round of vaccines, deworming, and you will also receive a goodie bag with treats, toys, and a blanket with their mom's scent.

A Little about the Breed
American Corgis are an exciting developing breed. They are a cross between Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Cardigan Welsh Corgis focusing on putting the best characteristics of both breeds forward. From the unique merle and brindle patterns originally seen in Cardigans as well as their squarer build to keeping a more Pembroke-style body with a smaller overall size, the American Corgi is truly the best of both worlds.

Our American Corgis are genetically health-tested via Embark DNA Panels or through GenSol Diagnostics. Our corgis test results show them as Pembroke Welsh Corgis due to the Cardigan Welsh Corgi cross being several generations prior.
